Festive milk stout

Take an ordinary beer to the next level by adding the perfect mix of flavours


60 ml honey
Juice of 2 grapefruit
1 tsp chopped thyme
440 ml milk stout (ice-cold)


1. Mix the honey, grapefruit juice and thyme together, and cook over a low heat for five minutes.
2. Leave to steep for 10 minutes, then strain.
3. Divide the honey mixture between two glasses, top up with ice and the milk stout.
Serve immediately.
